Public Sector Lawyer

Join Our Team as a Technology Transactions Lawyer (Public Sector) at Axiom

Location: Remote

We are seeking a technology transactions lawyer to to support our client, one of the largest tech companies in the world. In this role, you will provide legal support related to technology transactions and product counseling, including the negotiation of technology and services contracts with public sector customers. This position offers the opportunity to support cloud services and related public sector accreditation matters, including FedRAMP and CJIS.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology and services contracts with public sector customers
• Negotiating contracts with US federal, state, local, and educational customers
• Supporting partner and reseller contract negotiations
• Assisting with the development of terms and templates
• Supporting work related to cloud services and public sector accreditations (FedRAMP, CJIS)

Qualifications:

• Experience in technology transactions and/or product counseling
• Strong knowledge of negotiating technology or services contracts with public sector customers
• Experience working with public sector customers, including federal, state, local, and educational entities
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with product counseling
  
• Familiarity with public sector accreditation frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, CJIS)

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $166,000-240,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
