Medior Engineer VMS

As a VMS Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing complex Video Management Systems (VMS) and integrated security solutions. You will work closely with engineering, pre-sales, project management, and service teams to ensure high-quality technical delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, install, and maintain VMS and integrated electronic security solutions
• Support pre-sales teams with technical expertise and solution design
• Create detailed low-level technical designs and documentation
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure fast resolution while respecting SLA commitments
• Collaborate with project managers, service desk teams, and engineers on customer projects
• Ensure cybersecurity and Securitas policies are respected within all solutions
• Participate in on-call/support activities when required
• Identify operational improvements and contribute to process optimization
• Deliver technical training and knowledge sharing to colleagues and customers
• Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and time registration

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or IT-related field, or equivalent through experience
• Strong experience with Video Management Systems (VMS) and electronic security solutions
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles
• Experience with security technologies such as CCTV, access control, and integrations
• Knowledge of ITIL and IT service environments is considered a plus
• VCA certification or willingness to obtain it
• Fluent in Dutch or French with a good knowledge of English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and autonomous mindset
• Team player with excellent communication skills
