- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all engineering systems – HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical;
- Lead, schedule, and support the engineering team, ensuring effective coverage and high standards of work;
- Manage and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment, guest rooms, and public areas;
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests or emergencies, minimising disruption to operations and guests;
- Collaborate with department heads to support operational needs and ensure seamless service delivery;
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as legal and brand requirements;
- Manage contractors, service providers, and external inspections, ensuring quality and timely work;
- Monitor and optimise energy use, utilities, and maintenance budgets;
- Keep detailed maintenance records and assist with capital planning and project implementation;
- Train your team on safety, emergency procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in hotel engineering or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Experience in budgeting, project management, and contractor management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

- Proficiency in relevant software and systems, including BMS (Building Management Systems).
