Job description

Be the first point of connection for our guests and set the tone for an exceptional stay. As a Casual Reservations Sales Agent, you’ll combine strong customer service with a proactive sales approach to maximise revenue and create seamless booking experiences.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with guests, identifying opportunities, and delivering personalised service in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility that casual employment offers.

What You’ll Do

  • Convert enquiries into bookings through confident selling and upselling
  • Provide prompt, professional responses via phone and email
  • Accurately manage reservations and guest information
  • Promote hotel services, packages, and special offers
  • Resolve guest enquiries with a positive, solutions-focused approach
  • Monitor availability, rates, and opportunities to maximise revenue

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in Front Office or Reservations
  • Previous experience in a sales-focused role (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with guests
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; Opera Cloud experience advantageous
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
