Job description

This role offers a rate of $22.00 per hour at this location. The compensation is fixed and does not vary based on qualifications.

We are seeking a motivated Regulatory Affairs Intern to support core regulatory compliance activities, including chemical data management and regulatory research, while gaining practical exposure to how regulatory requirements influence product stewardship and sustainability-driven legislation. This role offers hands-on experience with real regulatory datasets, emerging U.S. policy trends, and short-term project ownership.

  • Perform chemical data entry and validation in internal regulatory databases  (Supply Shift)
  • Assist with maintenance and cleanup of chemical and product regulatory data to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
  • Review and track U.S. Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation, with a focus on packaging-related requirements
  • Support a short-term project to design and build a U.S. EPR tracker, including:
    • Identifying key states and legislative elements
    • Defining data fields (scope, materials covered, reporting obligations, implementation timelines)
    • Populating and maintaining the tracker in Excel or similar tools
  • Collaborate with multiple departments such as R&D, purchasing, and sustainability across the globe etc.

  • Currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with technical and legislative information
  • Strong Excel and data organization skills; experience with databases or ERP systems is a plus
  • Ability to research, synthesize, and clearly summarize regulatory requirements
  • Interest in regulatory compliance, chemical management, and packaging or environmental policy
