Job description

Overview Marketing AI Engineer, Agentic Automation Alpharetta, GA (Onsite) About the Role As a Marketing AI Engineer on the Product Marketing team, you will design, build, and scale agentic AI systems that transform how the marketing org creates content, reaches buyers, and executes campaigns. The core of this role is content and campaign automation: building systems that generate targeted, dynamic, and locally nuanced marketing assets at scale, ready for human review and activation. You bring fluency in how marketing teams work, the systems they depend on, and where those systems fall short. That foundation is what makes this role different: you are not learning the marketing context while you build. You already understand it, and you are applying AI and automation as the next layer on top of it. This is a hands-on technical role: you will write production-grade code, implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations, and own the full lifecycle from proof-of-concept to deployed solution. What You’ll Do Build and deploy agentic systems Build the automated content pipeline that takes an audience segment, ICP profile, or campaign brief and produces targeted ads, landing pages, email sequences, UGC briefs, and sales enablement assets, localized and nuanced by region, industry, or persona, ready for human review and one-click activation. Develop dynamic content generation systems that pull from structured data sources (product, customer, competitive, firmographic) to produce first-draft marketing materials that are personalized, on-message, and on-brand at scale. Design and implement agentic workflows that automate multi-step content and campaign tasks: intake to brief, brief to asset, asset to review queue, and review to publish. Implement MCP servers and agent orchestration systems; write clean, maintainable Python and JavaScript to productionize AI integrations. Integrate AI systems with marketing automation platforms, CMS, DAM, CRM, and external data sources through APIs and data pipelines to enable content that is informed by live customer and market data. Evaluate tools and drive adoption Evaluate and select AI frameworks, tools, and platforms for specific marketing use cases. Run proofs-of-concept and recommend solutions with clear rationale tied to marketing outcomes. Stay current with AI trends, emerging agent frameworks, and content generation tools. Bring what is new and directly applicable to the team with context on how to use it. Create documentation, prompt libraries, and reusable templates that make AI-powered content workflows repeatable across the marketing org. Be the forcing function for adoption: if a solution works, you ensure the team knows it and is using it. Define and measure impact Build evaluation frameworks that track time saved, content output volume, quality scores, and campaign performance. Define success metrics before building, not after. Deliver impact reporting that ties AI initiatives to marketing outcomes: time savings, asset throughput, campaign conversion, and pipeline contribution. Partner with Marketing, Product Marketing, and Marketing Ops to understand workflows, diagnose bottlenecks, and translate content needs into technical designs. What You Bring 3+ years of professional experience in marketing operations, marketing information systems, AI/ML engineering, analytics engineering, automation engineering, or a closely related role with direct exposure to marketing systems and content workflows. Hands-on experience administering or deeply using core marketing technology: marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), CMS, and adjacent tools in the MOps stack. Working knowledge of how marketing data flows: audience segmentation, campaign attribution, lead scoring, and content performance reporting. Familiarity with how marketing content is produced and activated: from brief to asset to channel, and where manual effort creates the most drag. Strong coding skills in Python and JavaScript, with demonstrated experience building or integrating production software systems. Hands-on experience with AI software engineering tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar. Deep understanding of modern context engineering and prompt design: you can write, debug, and improve LLM prompts for production content generation use cases. Familiarity with agentic AI systems, orchestration frameworks, Model Context Protocol, and RAG techniques. Strong intuition for LLM limitations and when not to use them. Demonstrated experience evaluating, selecting, and deploying AI and automation tools in business environments. Ability to work independently on complex technical problems and present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A bias toward building systems that permanently change how a team operates, not one-time experiments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data enrichment and CDP tools such as ZoomInfo, Clearbit, or Segment. Familiarity with BI and reporting tools used in marketing contexts (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics). Background in analytics, data pipelines, or data engineering. Demonstrated track record of defining and measuring business impact from AI or automation initiatives. Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, Temporal, Airflow) and AI stack components such as RAG frameworks and embedding stores. Who You Are You have built things that real people use every day to be meaningfully more effective in their work. Not experiments or workarounds: actual systems that changed how a team operates. You may have come up through marketing operations or marketing systems administration and realized that the next frontier is not configuring tools but building them. You understand the MOps stack not as a user but as someone who has lived inside it: the data model, the handoffs, the gaps, and the workarounds people have accepted as normal. You are technical enough to work with APIs, build agents, wire up automations, and debug when things break. You are comfortable across the stack: LLMs, MCP servers, automation platforms, and the code that connects them. But you are not an engineer who happens to know about marketing. You build products that marketing teams use, and if they are not using them, you figure out why. You have a low tolerance for manual work that could be automated. When you see a three-day workflow, you cannot stop thinking about how to make it thirty minutes. You have probably built something of your own, or worked in an environment where shipping fast and measuring everything was the default. What’s in it for you?
