Expected salary range of $180,900 to $201,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose of Position Provide overall proactive management of site organizational and regulatory performance. This includes oversight of the sites' organizational effectiveness, emergency preparedness and regulatory assurance (including environmental) departments. Interfaces directly with the station leadership team regarding station performance and functional area responsibilities. Engages with the Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC), Nuclear Safety and Relations Board (NSRB), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), industry and government officials. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Provide management, governance and oversight of the site's nuclear organizational effectiveness emergency preparedness, and regulatory assurance departments. Participate as a member of the station senior leadership team and peer groups to drive department and station performance and in formulation and implementation of station priorities and policies. Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., employment, development, compensation, performance evaluation, etc.) Participates as key manager in business planning, budget, and business performance for the site's regulatory assurance, emergency preparedness and organizational effectiveness functions. Interfaces with external stakeholders and industry organizations. Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 10 years of professional nuclear experience of which 3 years must be supervisory experience OR Current or previous SRO License with 10 years of professional nuclear experience of which 3 years must be supervisory experience OR Associates degree in a technical discipline with 12 years of professional nuclear experience of which 3 years must be supervisory experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 14 years of professional nuclear experience of which 3 years must be supervisory experience Previous nuclear utility leadership or managerial experience with demonstrated understanding of organizational effectiveness concepts and the ability to develop insights and solutions Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties Preferred Qualifications Previous senior reactor operator license or certification Experience on the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) accreditation or evaluation teams, benchmarking and peer assessment teams Substantial experience in leading teams from multiple organizations in accomplishing diverse tasks and assignments Experience in corporate licensing Experience in utilizing aspects of the learning programs Primary Purpose of Position Provide overall proactive management of site organizational and regulatory performance.
