Job description

Departmental Overview Compensation $33.00 flat rate Job Summary Performs responsibilities as an integral team member of an OT/OTA collaboration focused on patient centered decision making. Documents delivery of Occupational Therapy services. Educates patients, family, caregivers, significant others, and staff members. Directs and supervises activities of support personnel. Performs occupational therapy programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, utilizing standard occupational therapy techniques as appropriate for the patient's age, functional impairments, abilities, needs, and desires. Qualifications Education Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy assistant education program; successful completion of the certification process for Occupational Therapy Assistant. Experience Preferred but not required (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Licensed or eligible for licensure, or temporary licensure, as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Examiners. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
