Job Details The Nursing Administrator of Perioperative & Anesthesia Services will: Provide 24/7 clinical and administrative oversight for all aspects of nursing care in the perioperative areas. This includes direction and evaluation of nursing care in the operating room, procedural, outpatient and PACU operations, service line management, financial, clinical, and quality metrics. Ensure that the department functions according to established regulatory requirements and will collaborate with other department heads to identify and solve problems in the best interest of patient treatment. Maintain accountability for meeting regulatory agency requirements and upholding standards of practice within patient care areas. Support the development, implementation and evaluation of programs to promote recruitment, retention and the continuing education of nursing staff members. Additional duties may be requested or assigned. What you’ll bring: 5+ Years demonstrated experience in a Perioperative setting including progressive leadership experience. A commitment to performance improvement, service quality, and will contribute his/her talents and skills to achieve individual, departmental and hospital-wide goals and objectives. Current New York State license as a Registered Nurse required. Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards for areas of responsibility Proficiency in financial management and data-driven performance improvement Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field or currently enrolled in a Master's program required. BLS & ACLS Certifications from the American Heart Association required. CNOR preferred. Salary Range USD $170,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
