This role provides senior-level leadership to multiple operations teams and serves as a key driver of client satisfaction, employee engagement, and profitability. The General Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, ensuring that operational strategy aligns with company objectives while translating organizational goals into executable plans. This role carries responsibility for portfolio-level decision-making, talent leadership, and operational outcomes. Responsibilities Essential Functions: Provide leadership and oversight for multiple security operations, client contracts, and geographic locations. Ensure consistent execution of company policies, operating procedures, and service standards across assigned portfolio. Own and manage the financial performance of assigned operations, including labor management, expense control, and margin improvement. Develop, manage, and track annual operating budgets and forecasts; take corrective action when performance deviates from plan. Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers, Program Managers, and site leadership to drive accountability and performance. Partner with Human Resources & Talent Acquisition to support recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, and retention initiatives. Serve as a senior escalation point for client concerns, service issues, and critical incidents. Build and maintain strong client relationships through routine communication, performance reviews, and service planning. Oversee incident response, investigations, and corrective action plans to mitigate risk and prevent recurrence. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, licensing regulations, and company risk management standards. Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Finance, HR, Sales, Training, and Compliance to support operational and growth initiatives. Support new account transitions, contract expansions, and operational start-ups as needed. Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications and Skill Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in security operations, facilities management, or service-based operations. Demonstrated experience managing multiple sites, contracts, or business units with full operational accountability. Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, labor models, and P&L performance. Proven ability to lead and develop managers and influence outcomes across complex operations. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, executives, and frontline employees. Proficiency with standard business technology, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making Employment Verification For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
