Responsibilities You will conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community. Plainclothes Armed Agents are responsible for maintaining security and safety throughout the organizaion - and serve as a deterrent to illegal activities. Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications & Requirements : High School Diploma, GE D or equivalent Prior law enforcement experience Current Concealed Carry license Operational surveillance experience Previous work experience with the public in a service setting Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles). Must submit to and be able to successfully pass background, physical, psychological, and drug screening. No felony convictions. No serious misdemeanor convictions in the last 5 years. No Domestic Violence convictions. No DUI, DWI convictions in the last 5 years. Successfully complete all Tarian required onboarding training. Successfully complete all Tarian required firearms training. Armed (Handgun) Qualifications: At least 21 years of age Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a weapon Ability to pass the initial and semi-annual Tarian approved firearms training course to demonstrate proficiency in use of firearm Ability to participate and meet the requirements of additional firearms training at the discretion of the firearms instructor Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Tarian Firearms policies PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation. Employment Verification For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor.
