Position Location This position will be located onsite at the NASA Stennis Space Center, Mississippi. Job Overview Responsible for managing equipment and materials within NASA property systems, ensuring accurate records, compliance with NASA regulations, and timely execution of inventory and disposal processes. Responsibilities Essential Job Duties: Perform daily data entry and maintenance of property records Track and report equipment and materials Input and update transactions in SAP and Maximo Assist with inventory activities (open, manage, close) Perform other duties as assigned Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate property records in SAP, Maximo, and the NASA Property Management System Ensure compliance with NASA property policies (NPR 4100 and 4200) Manage annual inventory processes (planning, execution, closeout) Support equipment control, tracking, and disposal activities Provide guidance to end users on property procedures Perform duties within required timelines and customer expectations Job Requirements Mandatory: High school diploma or GED + 4 years of property management experience Valid driver’s license Forklift certification Working knowledge of property management processes Basic computer skills (SAP/Maximo preferred) Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions Effective communication skills Preferred: Experience working on government or NASA installations Familiarity with NASA property systems and processes" Working Conditions: Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments, including extreme heat and cold Work performed in operational/industrial settings requiring adherence to safety protocols Physical Requirements: Lift and carry up to 40 pounds Walk, bend, and stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours/day) Climb ladders and stairs as needed Push/pull equipment frequently Wear PPE for extended periods Disclosures Chugach Government Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
