Learn About a Day in the Life of a Monitor Technician: Responsibilities The Monitor Technician is accountable and responsible for viewing the cardiac monitor for each patient and recognizing and reporting abnormal patterns. Qualifications Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a monitor technician program within six months of hire. Basic computer skills.
