Role Description: The Commercial Manager – Partner New Payments is the commercial owner responsible for the discovery, development, and launch of new partner payment methods. This role plays a critical part in unlocking new revenue opportunities, improving partner experience, and strengthening competitiveness across Booking Holdings (BKNG). Acting as the central owner of new payout innovations, you will define and execute the strategy for expanding payment capabilities while enabling growth in new verticals. You will work cross-functionally to ensure scalable, compliant, and commercially viable solutions aligned with Partner Payments and broader company strategy. Key Job Responsibilities and Duties: Strategy & Innovation Define and drive the roadmap for new partner payout methods Identify market trends, partner needs, and emerging technologies to inform strategy. Ensure alignment with Partner Core and Strategy teams on future payout direction. Business Ownership Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of new payment solutions—from opportunity identification to launch and scaling. Build robust business cases including revenue potential, cost efficiencies, and partner value. Run pilots, evaluate performance, and scale successful solutions. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Partner teams. Act as the single point of ownership for new partner payment initiatives across the organization. Ensure strong stakeholder alignment and clear communication of priorities and progress. Operational Excellence & Compliance Ensure all payment solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Develop frameworks and processes to onboard future payment innovations efficiently. Monitor performance and continuously optimize launched solutions. Team Leadership Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making. Requirements: 5-10 years of experience in payments, fintech, or financial services, preferably in payouts or B2B payments. Demonstrated track record of launching new products or payment solutions end-to-end. Strong commercial acumen with experience building business cases and delivering revenue impact. Deep understanding of payment ecosystems (cards, A2A, VCC, wallets, etc.). Experience working in cross-functional, global environments with multiple stakeholders. Solid knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations in payments. Familiarity with travel industry or marketplace platforms. Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Leadership experience with a focus on team development and performance.
