The position plays a critical role in coordinating major offer rounds, supporting admission schemes such as Early Offers, and ensuring admissions operations are aligned with institutional priorities and external TAC requirements.

As the subject matter expert for TAC admissions, the role leads continuous improvement initiatives, coordinates TAC publications and programming submissions, and supports undergraduate assessment training across the broader Admissions team. The Admission Coordinator represents the University at TAC based forums and committees and provides high‑level advice, reporting and market insights to senior leadership, contributing to effective decision‑making and an excellent applicant experience.

  • Leading the coordination and assessment of applications, while driving the development, review and continuous improvement of admission processes within areas of responsibility, underpinned by a strong quality assurance and risk management focus.
  • Leveraging systems, data and insights to inform evidence-based recommendations, strengthen decision making, streamline workflows and embed best practice across admissions activities.
  • Providing expert training, guidance and supervision to University staff and TAC assessors, building capability, consistency and confidence in the assessment of Griffith admission applications.

About you
What matters most is your drive to create a brighter future that benefits all. Through our core principles of excellence, ethics and engagement, you’ll thrive on seeing the direct and lasting impact you’ll have on every community and every future.

You will also have:

  • A genuine passion for service excellence, with demonstrated experience fostering a student and stakeholder focused culture through effective supervision, coaching and the development of positive, productive working relationships.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgement, with the ability to exercise initiative, discretion and independent decision making when managing complex, high-risk or sensitive matters.
  • Highly developed organisational, communication and analytical skills, enabling you to contribute meaningfully to strategy development, policy interpretation, process improvement and the delivery of practical, sustainable business solutions.
  • Strong capability in the use of student management systems and relational databases, coupled with a proactive mindset for continuous improvement, optimisation of workflows and effective use of data to inform decision making.
