Job description

Overview This position will support the corporate accounting group in making sure all Intercompany accounts are reconciled and in balance. In addition, this position will assist with monthly journal entries, reconciliations and other month close responsibilities. Last, this position will support a corporate department head with reviewing their results on a monthly basis, complete a monthly forecast and assist with the annual business plan. Responsibilities Responsible for supporting the intercompany accounting team in reconciling all intercompany accounts on a monthly basis Responsible for the review of aging of Intercompany aging and follow up on any past due invoices. Responsible for other general accounting responsibilities, including but not limited to, journal entries and reconciliations related to taxes, audit fees, rebates, fixed assets and miscellaneous accruals. Responsible for the review of certain corporate cost centers. This includes working with the cost center owners on forecast, plan and reviewing actuals to make sure everything is recorded. Responsible for assisting in the completion of other duties as required. This includes the following: Documentation of standard operating procedures in your area. Assisting / backing up others in Hussmann corporate accounting group. Ad-hoc analysis and projects as needed (i.e. audits). Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 0-2 years’ experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications, including CoPilot, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor XA, Onestream and Blackline experience a plus Strong ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks and communicate information in a timely fashion and with the appropriate sense of urgency Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, mathematical skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.
