Overview This position has direct responsibility to support effective, consistent processes across the field services organization. This position will be primarily responsible for evaluating, coordinating and perfecting the use of the various technologies leveraged by the field services team. This includes, but is not limited to: Internally developed software, licensed 3 party technologies and data subscriptions that aim to advance the growth and efficiency of the practice. Responsibilities Support the continued development of MDS to establish TRC as a leader in the survey industry. Support and actively participate in the digitization efforts on behalf of FSL to create automations that add to the bottom line and capture market share. Continually evaluate FSL processes and work flows to identify and implement efficiencies that reduce workload, save time and drive competitiveness, performance and profitability. Have direct responsibility for the interface with land database management systems, working to assist with user issues and to maintain the integration with other internal and external databases and technologies. Provide leadership and oversight to project start up and operations by coordinating with GIS specialists to create and maintain a seamless interface for one central project repository. Provide training and increase awareness between various disciplines to create a more cohesive and adaptable workforce. Work with project teams to develop execution plans, prepare proposals and identify creative ways to minimize costs and maximize profitability. Interface with all internal and external stakeholders to drive integration, coordination and understanding on projects involving more than one service offering. Participate on sales and proposal presentation calls as needed *Work with the FSL team and the TRC business development teams as an SME for survey, land, technology, and GIS attending client meetings as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent industry experience) 10+ years of experience in survey, land, ROW, or geospatial services, with increasing responsibility Demonstrated expertise in land data management systems, GIS platforms, and integration with internal/external technologies Proven experience driving process improvements, workflow optimization, and operational efficiencies Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, including project startup, execution planning, and closeout Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams (survey, GIS, engineering, land/ROW, etc.) Ability to identify and implement automation and digitization initiatives that improve performance and profitability Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders Experience supporting proposals, client presentations, and business development efforts Demonstrated leadership ability, including training, mentoring, and influencing teams without direct authority Benefits * : TRC offers a competitive benefit package consisting of: Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance. 401k package that includes both traditional and Roth IRA options and Company match.
