Overview We help clients make confident, data‑driven decisions in a fast‑changing market. In this role, you’ll combine actuarial expertise with a strong understanding of reinsurance and market dynamics. You’ll work across analytics and broking to support clients with practical, tailored solutions that protect their business and support long‑term performance. We’re looking for a Senior Actuary / Actuarial Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team in Munich or Cologne. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Europe and play an active role in both technical delivery and client engagement. How you'll make an impact In this role, you’ll: Deliver actuarial analysis to support reinsurance programmes across multiple lines of business. Support clients in the design, evaluation, and optimisation of reinsurance structures. Translate complex data and modelling outputs into clear, practical recommendations. Work closely with broking teams to structure and place reinsurance solutions in the market. Contribute to the development of data‑driven approaches and analytical tools. Advise clients, underwriters, and internal stakeholders on actuarial and risk topics. Support cross‑border projects with colleagues across EMEA. Contribute to developing client relationships and identifying new opportunities. About you Here’s what you’ll bring to the role: Experience working in an actuarial environment, for example in reinsurance, insurance, consulting, or broking. Knowledge across multiple insurance lines and an understanding of how risk, capital, and reinsurance interact. The ability to structure and interpret complex data for decision‑making. Experience using actuarial models and quantitative methods. Confidence working with data and analytical tools. Membership in an actuarial association, e.g. the “Deutsche Aktuarvereinigung (DAV)”. Fluency in German and English, with the ability to work confidently in both languages. A collaborative approach to working with teams across different locations.
