Job description
Data Management & Engineering:
- Design, implement, and optimise end-to-end data pipelines to improve the integration and processing of data.
- Oversee data storage, transformation, and retrieval processes to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
- Deliver actionable insights through analytics and reporting tools, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Implement robust data visualisation frameworks to enhance data accessibility and usability.
Data Governance:
- Enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, compliance, and regulatory alignment.
- Promote a culture of accountability and best practices around data usage and stewardship.
Solutions & Data Architecture:
- Design, build and maintain scalable data architectures, enabling the seamless integration of new technologies and methodologies.
- Collaborate with the clients data, technology and business teams to ensure alignment between solutions and business needs.
- Proven experience in data engineering, and data analytics within large-scale organisations, preferably in financial services.
- Strong technical expertise in modern data platforms, including cloud-based solutions, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Dataiku & Tableau.
- Expertise in data governance, regulatory compliance, and security standards in the financial sector.
- Deep understanding of solutions architecture and its application to enterprise-level data systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving results.
- A collaborative mindset with a track record of working across diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions.
