LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

YOUR ROLE
As a Logistic Specialist, you will be part of the EMEA quotation team, and responsible for the calculation of logistic costs for new and current projects in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow Versigent strategy to implement optimized logistic processes.
Analyze routes and associated costs for transporting raw materials to Versigent factories and to transport the finish goods to our customers.
Calculate areas of raw materials and finished goods at Versigent manufacturing locations to accommodate the several logistic concepts requested by customers
Propose advanced warehouses for basic supply of finished goods to customers.
Propose packaging solutions working closely with engineering area.
Analyze and request costs related with IT for the implementation of new projects.
Analyze and request classification and customs costs and duties payable for new quote requests and current projects.
Analyze activities related to the above-mentioned tasks to provide solutions in the logistic area.
Prepare value stream mapping for the material flows and assure all documentation is in line with business cases presented, project scope, delivery deadlines and other qualitative information.
Manage meetings with others Versigent areas and support meetings between Versigent and providers.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or quotation-related roles within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Exposure to logistics cost analysis for inbound and outbound material flows
Previous involvement in logistics process design, optimization, or improvement initiatives
Experience working in cross‑functional teams (e.g. Engineering, Procurement, IT, Operations)
Familiarity with international logistics operations across EMEA is an advantage
Experience supporting business cases, quotations, or project feasibility analyses is desirable
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
Advanced and independent user of Excel, including data analysis and cost modeling
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a critical mindset
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment
Intermediate level in PowerPoint
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
