What the day will look likee The Structured Capital Solutions team specializes in designing capital and structured financing solutions for the insurance and reinsurance sector, combining insurance products, traditional and alternative reinsurance, as well as risk-linked financial structures. We leverage historical data, quantitative models, and specialized sources to optimize capital usage, balance sheet structure, and protection against complex risks We are looking to add a Broker / Structured Capital Solutions Executive to the team, with a strong commercial-analytical profile, capable of combining data analysis and financial structuring skills with a solid sales orientation and client management capabilities, primarily serving insurers, reinsurers, and other institutions Key responsibilities Identify business opportunities for capital injection solutions, capital relief, and structured financing for insurance and reinsurance companies, understanding their solvency, rating, growth, and risk management needs, and translating them into clear and differentiated value propositions Process and analyze financial and risk data (historical losses, business portfolios, financial statements, solvency and capital metrics, market information) using tools such as Excel and basic analytical software (Python, R, or others) to support the design and evaluation of capital structures and risk transfer solutions Collaborate on the technical and financial structuring of solutions for the insurance/reinsurance sector (e.g., capital relief solutions, funded reinsurance structures, quota shares with a financial component, balance sheet optimization solutions, risk-linked notes), working closely with technical, actuarial, legal, and commercial teams to define terms, tenors, financial triggers, and repayment mechanisms Prepare presentations, summary models, and technical documentation in English, facilitating communication with clients, reinsurers, investors, and internal teams (local and global) Actively participate in commercial and structuring meetings, presenting proposed solutions, explaining analytical results, and supporting negotiations with insurers, reinsurers, reinsurance markets, and/or capital markets Support pricing estimates, loss scenarios, cash flow projections, and sensitivity analyses, incorporating modeling or pricing tools when applicable, and clearly communicating results to support commercial, financial, and risk decision-making Research market trends, new capital structures, and financing alternatives specific to the insurance/reinsurance sector, as well as the capabilities of traditional and alternative markets, proposing improvements to products, commercial approaches, and processes, with a constant focus on business generation and value creation for clients. Skills and experience that will lead to success At least five years of experience in consultative sales, insurance/reinsurance broking, structured finance/banking, business development, or other commercial roles within the financial sector, ideally with exposure to insurance companies, reinsurers, or capital solutions for the insurance industry Strong ability to work with financial and data analysis tools (advanced Excel required; basic knowledge of Python, R, or modeling/pricing tools is desirable but not mandatory) Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate complex technical and financial concepts relevant to the sector (reinsurance structures, solvency and capital metrics, impacts on earnings and balance sheet) to non-specialized audiences, supporting informed decision-making Strong results orientation, negotiation skills, and ability to manage commercial relationships with insurers, reinsurers, international markets, and other strategic partners Advanced English (spoken and written), with the ability to prepare documentation and engage in technical and commercial discussions with international teams and counterparties.
