Responsibilities The Food Safety & Quality Operations Coordinator – 3rd Shift provides overnight operational support to the Food Safety team while helping maintain compliance with key food safety programs, including FSMA and FSSC 22000 documentation. This role plays an important part in daily preventive control monitoring, audit readiness, training compliance, and reporting accuracy. The Coordinator works closely with Food Safety, Quality, Manufacturing, and Maintenance teams to ensure data integrity, follow‑up on action plans, and continuous compliance across departments. This is a great opportunity to develop experience in food safety operations within a large‑scale manufacturing environment. Schedule This is a third-shift, overnight position. Candidates must be flexible to work one of the following schedule options. There is no schedule option with both Saturday and Sunday off. Available overnight schedules include: Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Days off: Friday & Saturday) Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Days off: Sunday & Monday) Friday – Monday: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (10-hour shift; days off: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) Start and end times may vary slightly based on operational needs. Weekend availability is required. Food Safety and Compliance Support Monitor daily Preventive Controls and ensure documentation accuracy Track action plans addressing identified gaps and confirm completion through follow‑up and post‑audits Ensure timely review of plans and models with appropriate managers Analyze audit scores and support action planning to address findings impacting plant rankings and GPA Reporting and Documentation Create reports detailing current food safety and quality performance Organize and maintain documentation related to FSMA and FSSC 22000 requirements Manage file organization to support audit readiness and compliance Training and Coordination Manage food safety and training compliance tracking processes Schedule meetings, training events, and daily activities Provide food safety training to employees across departments Collaboration and Communication Interact daily with Managers to ensure accurate departmental data reporting Provide weekly updates to the Food Safety Manager Partner with Manufacturing and Maintenance Leaders as needed to address compliance topics Participate in monthly updates with Maintenance/Engineering leadership Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $39,500 - $63,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
