You are: A lover of design, brands, people and culture A self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit Energized by challenges Empathetic to consumers, customers and internal stakeholders Keen eye for consumer behavior trends in addition to extraordinary design savvy A storyteller, visually & verbally Comfortable multitasking Collaborative As part of the PepsiCo Beverage Design team, you will partner closely with functional design experts as well as the business to develop brand design strategies across a spectrum of capabilities including product architecture, innovation pipelines, visual identity systems, design guidelines, packaging design, digital design, and 360 branding executions and activations. The Brand Designer will engage with cross-functional teams to drive comprehensive brand and graphic design projects from ideation and strategy to execution. The main objective of this role is to guide brand design, help craft the brand design strategy, and execute design projects in a range of mediums. Responsibilities You’ll work closely with our Brand Design Manager and Design Director on MUG Root Beer to concept, craft, and bring ideas to life across a variety of touchpoints. This includes: Developing and executing high quality brand design work from concept to final delivery Participating in brainstorms, critiques, and work sessions Creating visual identities, packaging, presentations, campaign assets and 360 branding executions Sketching, storyboarding, moodboarding, and mock-ups to communicate ideas and design intent Iterating on designs based on direction and feedback from Brand Design leads Collaborating with cross-functional partners and external studios Iterating quickly based on feedback and evolving business needs Design in alignment to evolving brand needs with emphasis on brand consistency and meeting business objectives Managing timelines, milestones and internal deadlines to ensure timely delivery This role drives design excellence, elevates brand identity, and ensures impactful visual storytelling across packaging, campaigns, innovation and 360 brand projects. The position requires a strong balance of creative vision, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management to deliver best-in-class brand experiences in a fast-paced environment. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,700 - $135,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Minimum of 1–3 years studio experience (in-house or agency) as a graphic or brand designer taking projects from concept through completion Brand, communication design background, bachelor’s degree in design, visual communication or a related field Background and understanding of brand/packaging/graphic design as well as an understanding of social/digital design preferred Strong portfolio of design work showcasing both print and digital design projects Social media-minded curator Brand design background and style guideline experience, 360 visual identity Strong typography and layout sensibility Great sketching (digital and/or hand sketching) skills and idea development techniques to create and communicate concepts and the ability to articulate ideas conceptually. Illustration skills and AI mockup skills would be a plus.
