Job description

This role is based in our office at 300 South Riverside Plaza, Chicago, IL.

At Omdia Telecoms Consulting, we work with some of the biggest names in the global telecommunications market to help them navigate shifting markets, outpace competitors, and unlock growth. Our insights, data, and consulting expertise fuel board-level decisions.

We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a Senior Consultant to deliver high-impact projects for clients across the North American and global telecoms landscape. You’ll combine analytical rigor with proposal and project management discipline, working directly with executives to solve their most critical challenges. Our clients are value-focused, investing in strategic insight to drive measurable, long-term impact — and you’ll be central to helping them realize that value.

Business development support

  • Work closely with sales and account managers to scope, position, and support proposals for North American and global clients.
  • Contribute to the proposal and bid stages of custom projects, ensuring inputs are accurate, well-structured, and commercially aligned.
  • Identify opportunities within accounts to expand consulting and subscription work, always in close partnership with account management teams.

Project delivery

  • Deliver North America–focused consulting projects – including market entry, go-to-market strategy, partner ecosystem development, and competitive positioning.
  • Apply Omdia’s consulting methodologies to ensure deliverables are commercially strong, differentiated, and actionable.
  • Manage distributed teams of analysts and consultants through our Project Management framework, ensuring clear objectives, plans, and collaboration.
  • Maintain strong focus on budget, timelines, and utilization targets, ensuring projects meet client expectations and contribute to practice growth.

Client engagement and influence

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client stakeholders in North America and worldwide, positioning Omdia as a trusted partner.
  • Support senior colleagues in executive-level discussions, developing confidence in C-suite and partner-facing environments.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact during delivery, ensuring client needs are addressed promptly and effectively.
