Mobile Medical Driver - CDL A

Overview
The Materials Management Mobile Medical Driver provides transportation support necessary to coordinate pick-ups, deliveries, and setting up of mobile MRI and PET units. The driver will operate a company vehicle on pre-described daily routes to specific Riverside facilities. The driver will assist in other areas of Materials Management as required.

What you will do

• Deliver and pick up designated items from all stops on schedule. Set up and take down mobile units in preparation for use and/or transport to different facilities. Procure and file documentation or receipts for all items as required.
• Ensure all preventative maintenance and safety checks are performed on vehicle and mobile units as required. Maintain a clean, clutter free vehicle. Procure any maintenance documentation and receipts and ensure they are maintained in the appropriate maintenance records.
• Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding daily movement of units, including any unscheduled changes that may be needed
• Assist co-workers with improving work procedures and increasing productivity during non-peak times. Perform back-up duties for other couriers as needed.
• Identify and contribute to route and mobile unit set up optimization for cost reduction and standardization opportunities
• Attend all in-service education, departmental, or update meetings as required. Maintain up to date yearly testing.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, (Required)

Experience

• 3-4 years of experience with Class "A" Driver's License (Required)
• Experience transporting mobile MRI and/or PET units (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Commercial Drivers License (CDL) - DMV Class A (Required)
• Drives personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job
• Operates company vehicles as essential function of the job
• Valid Drivers License (Required)
• Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (Required)
