Job Description
U.S. Bank’s Global Network Management (GNM) team provides centralized governance and oversight of the bank’s global sub‑custodian, cash correspondent, digital asset (crypto), and depositary networks, supporting U.S. Bank’s global custody, fund services, and securities servicing platform. Operating within Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (WCIB), the GNM team is responsible for network strategy, market access, due diligence, risk oversight, and ongoing performance management across domestic and international markets.
Through close partnership with operations, risk, compliance, legal, tax, and product teams, Global Network Management helps ensure safe, resilient, and compliant market access, consistent service standards, and robust asset‑protection controls across traditional securities, cash, and digital asset ecosystems

Key Responsibilities
- Market & Industry Research: Research global custody, sub‑custodian banks, cash correspondent networks, and market infrastructure. Summarize key market developments, risks, and trends for the team.
- Regulatory & Market Practice Monitoring: Track regulatory and market practice changes impacting custody and cash networks (e.g., EU and global regulations) and support the preparation of concise impact summaries.
- Data & Reporting Support: Collect and organize data related to sub‑custodian oversight, due diligence, and network performance. Assist with management reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Sub‑Custodian Oversight Support: Assist network managers with due diligence activities, documentation tracking, meeting notes, and follow‑up actions as part of ongoing third‑party risk oversight.
- Project & Managerial Support: Support global network managers with day‑to‑day tasks and ad‑hoc projects related to network governance, market coverage, and process improvements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Help coordinate communication with internal partners (Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal) and support preparation of materials for external network partners.

Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in Finance: A genuine interest in pursuing a career in finance, banking, specifically in custody network management.
Preferred qualifications
- Solid understanding of financial and technology
- Strong in Excel and PowerPoint
Location
Cherrywood . The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
