For our team within the Central Compliance Department based in Zurich, we are seeking a motivated and detailed-oriented team member to support with the design and implementation of new methodologies and frameworks, as well as support related cross-functional projects across the Bank. The successful candidate will combine compliance knowhow with practical process design abilities and project/initiative experience to drive efficiency, informed decision-making, and ensure disciplined delivery of the Central Compliance key roadmap objectives.YOUR CHALLENGE
Support Risk Type Owners in Compliance with the implementation of regulatory developments and industry best practices into internal policies, standards and controls
Lead and / or participate in key initiatives to set up new methodologies & standards aiming at effective maintenance of the Compliance Risk Management Framework. This includes global harmonisation of methodologies, processes, controls and reporting activities, coordination of resolution of regulatory, external and / or internal audits, etc
Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring key roadmap initiatives, budget tracking, ensuring alignment with business and compliance goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements
Create professional, audience-tailored presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint decks) to effectively convey insights, project statuses, and business implications to various levels of management
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to track progress, identify dependencies, and escalate issues proactively
Opportunity to interact with senior stakeholders within Compliance and Business and as well as with the Group’s international locations
Collaborate with partners across all three Lines of Defence and domestic and foreign Group affiliates
YOUR PROFILE
University degree or equivalent (preferably in banking & finance, business administration, law and / or data science)
Minimum 5 years of banking industry experience with focus on conceptional work. Exposure to compliance, risk management, legal or audit function in Private Banking is a plus
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and attention to details, team-player, proactive attitude in approaching tasks owning end-to-end execution
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and excellent knowledge in additional Office applications (e.g, Share Point). Knowhow in Confluence, Jira or similar tools is a plus
Stress-resistant, ability to cope with tight deadlines and deliver independently under time pressure
Good communication skills, ability to build and maintain sound relationship with stakeholders
Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are an advantage
