Position Summary:

The Territory Manager is responsible for selling implant products and affiliated services to hospitals within their aligned territory. This role requires a deep understanding of implant sales, the ability to build strong relationships with surgeons and hospital decision-makers, and a strategic approach to driving procedural adoption. Strong solution-based selling skills, clinical knowledge, and tenacity are essential to consistently exceeding sales objectives. Additionally, this individual must be a true collaborator, working closely with the broader sales team, including robotic, imaging, and navigation specialists—to maximize implant sales opportunities and drive overall business growth.

Essential Functions:

  • The responsibility of the Territory Manager is to effectively market Globus Medical products in accordance with the company's quality policy guidelines and to apply a consultative sales approach for potential and existing surgeons in the assigned area.

  • Act under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager/Country Director to ensure that goals within a defined sales area are achieved.

  • Achieve and exceed the assigned work objectives by possessing comprehensive knowledge of Globus products and surgical techniques, understanding customer needs, and professionally positioning Globus Medical products above the competition to meet these needs.

  • Provide technical support and consultation for all Globus Medical products during surgeries/operative procedures in accordance with the company's quality policy guidelines.

  • Provide Neuromonitoring support: pre-operative consultation with surgeon regarding structures at risk and modalities to be monitored, accurate placement of stimulating and recording electrodes accordingly, and intra-operative communication of monitoring data in accordance with the Company’s and/or Hospital’s policies and guidelines.

  • Educate and train doctors/surgeons and operating room staff in hospitals regarding the application and indications of Globus Medical products according to the company's quality policy guidelines.

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager/Country Director.

  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge and monitor and counteract competitors' activities.

  • Assess market needs, track business trends, and anticipate future developments.

  • Collaborate with the INR team to identify capital targets to grow the overall Globus Medical business.

  • Submit monthly expense reports to the Regional Sales Manager/Country Director.

  • Liaise with customer service and other administrative functions to ensure that our customers receive high-quality service.

  • Assist in organizing sales and marketing related activities including preparation of & participation in
    surgeon’s consultations, road shows and congresses.

  • Adhere to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Europe Code, and all other company policies. Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.

  • Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

  • Strong knowledge of the operating room environment

  • Preferred spinal device sales experience 

  • Strong technical skills with an advanced understanding of human anatomy and basic medical procedures

  • Ability to collaborate and influence; Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Pleasure of consulting and coaching, as well as high service orientation

  • Organizational talent with advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • High degree of independent, reliable, and proactive way of working

  • High level of integrity, ethics, and compliance

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to travel as necessary, which may include overnights and/or weekends

  • Driver’s License is required

  • Fluent in French and English, German a strong plus
