Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Licensed Plumber to join our team in Hertford, NC.
Open to Skillbridge applicants.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures (toilets, sinks, water heaters) for water, gas, and drainage systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues, clear clogs, fix leaks, and maintain high-pressure steam or hot water heating systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, building specifications, and layout drawings to determine pipe locations
- Adhere to local plumbing codes, safety standards, and regulations, including inspecting systems for safety
- Communicate with clients, provide cost estimates, and offer professional repair solutions
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Current Class 1 (P-1) License in North Carolina
- Customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations and safety procedures.
- Critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
