SENIOR PRODUCT DESIGNER

Reaktor’s award-winning tech and design community is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Tampere office. You will play a central role in our teams to help our clients turn their goals into successful new ventures, services and products.

As a Product Designer, you will be able to grow and broaden your expertise by working with industry leaders from visionary consumer solutions to education, financial services, healthcare, and the industrial sector in projects that change the world.

Whatever your craft is, you’ll see things come to life and make an impact on people’s daily lives. You are adaptive and thrive in a role without strict boundaries. You don’t shy away from a diverse range of tasks, as sometimes all of the following may take place in one day.

AS A PRODUCT DESIGNER, YOU’LL

• Work side by side with developers, lead the hands-on design work, and make sure the project meets our client’s needs
• Guide the client and team from the current state of things towards a solution. You know how to concentrate on what is essential at any given moment, and can guide others to do the same
• Make sense of our clients’ business goals, challenges and their users’ behaviour, and turn your understanding into great designs that benefit them both
• Work on different levels of abstraction
• Build and nurture relationships with the team and other stakeholders – help the client evolve their ways of working
• Flex your crafts muscles: whether it’s building a functional prototype, pushing pixels in Figma and other modern design tools, or polishing the finest details of the product demo
• Participate in workshops and collaborative sessions to uncover insights and shape vision

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

A person who can make things happen. You love solving design problems with craft, logic, and collaboration

AS A DESIGNER, YOU

• Have more than 6 years of experience with multiple successful digitalisation projects under your belt, preferably within consultancy or client-facing environments
• Have the ability to think conceptually and strategically, view things holistically, connecting business goals to design decisions
• Are experienced working in interdisciplinary teams with developers, strategists, and copywriters
• Have solid experience in involving end users in the design and development process
• Understand and apply modern design practices and processes and utilize AI tools while doing so
• Drive the work forward and take responsibility for design decisions
• Understand how to utilize the latest AI tools in order to work fluently with developers. Front-end skills are definitely a plus
• Have fluent English language skills, with fluent Finnish being a nice-to-have but certainly not compulsory
