Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Senior Fullstack Java Developer who can contribute across both backend and UI development. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong backend expertise in Java who is also comfortable working on frontend components and collaborating with design teams when needed.

The ideal candidate does not need to be a dedicated UI expert, but should be capable of supporting and implementing user interface work as part of a fullstack engineering role. Experience or familiarity with Figma is highly desirable to help translate designs into functional applications and collaborate effectively with product and design teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications with a primary focus on Java backend development.
• Build and enhance frontend/UI components as needed to support product initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Work with Figma designs and mockups to implement responsive and functional interfaces.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across both backend and frontend layers.
• Ensure code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, testing strategies, and deployment workflows.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering or fullstack development.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Java and modern backend frameworks (Spring Boot preferred)
  • Frontend technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or similar
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of fullstack application architecture.
• Ability to contribute to both backend and UI work as needed.
• Familiarity with responsive design and frontend best practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience or familiarity with Figma for collaborating with design teams and implementing UI designs.
• Exposure to modern UI/UX workflows and component-based design systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
