Job description

Unit4 Prosoft is a specialized Human Resource Management System (HRMS) designed specifically for the complex regulatory landscape of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. It functions as a single-source-of-truth platform, automating the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment to retirement.

We are looking for an Associate Quality Manager (Junior Quality Engineer) to join our Prosoft team. In this role, you will be the first line of defense in ensuring our software is bug-free and compliant. You will execute test cases across various modules like Payroll, Leave, Attendance and Claims, ensuring that the software accurately reflects the latest labor laws and provides a smooth experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Execution: Run manual test cases for the Prosoft web and mobile platforms.
  • Bug Reporting: Identify, record, and track software defects using DevOps. You will need to write clear steps so developers can easily reproduce and fix the issue.
  • Statutory Verification: Assist in verifying that the system's payroll engine matches government requirements for countries like Singapore, Malaysia, or Hong Kong, etc.
  • Regression Testing: Re-test fixed bugs and run standard "health checks" on existing features whenever a new update is released to ensure nothing else broke.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update simple test scripts and checklists to keep our testing library current.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior testers and developers to understand new HR features and how they are supposed to function.

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or even Business/HR with a high interest in tech.
  • Mindset: Extreme attention to detail (missing one cent in a payroll test is a big deal!).
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with web browsers, mobile apps, and basic Microsoft Excel (for data comparison).
  • Communication: Ability to explain a technical problem in simple, clear English.
  • Bonus Points: If you’ve heard of SQL or have used it before, that’s a plus, but we are happy to train the right person!
