UX Designer - Design System

• Own components, patterns, and usage guidelines from definition to delivery.
• Proactively identify gaps in the enterprise system and translate insights into accessible, inclusive, and scalable solutions.
• Create prototypes to demo, test, and communicate component behavior to stakeholders.
• Facilitate ideation and problem-solving with teammates and stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency and efficiency across the system; propose new components or improvements when needed.
• Define how design and code intersect, including AI-driven and token-aware surface needs.
• Validate and refine components through feedback, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Deliver clear documentation and handover materials for seamless developer implementation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to shape system decisions.
• Contribute to raising design maturity and improving design processes across the organisation
• Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in design systems and AI tooling.

• 5+ years of professional UX design experience
• Degree or vocational qualification in design, HCI, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of design systems; not just how they work, but why.
• Skilled in Figma for component and pattern design, prototyping, and documentation.
• Experienced working across design, engineering, and accessibility.
• Confident driving strategic decisions in a product triad.
• Strong collaborator with clear communication across Engineers, PMs, and Designers.
• Passionate about accessibility, inclusivity, and solving complex system-level challenges.
• Proactive mindset; you come with a plan, not just intent.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end design system work at meaningful scale.
• Hands-on experience integrating design systems with AI tooling and token-based interactions.
