This includes but is not limited to, obtaining patient demographics, insurance information and verification, explanation of various hospital forms and policies, obtaining signatures, discussions on financial responsibilities, collection of monies and initiation of the proper episode of care. Processes required information on all patients according to departmental and interdepartmental policies and procedures while adhering to the patient focused admissions process.
