Job description
Our Heavy Vehicle Parts Division (HVPD) is seeking a strong, results-driven, and relationship-focused professional to join our team as a Major Accounts Manager. This role is responsible for the overall management, implementation, and growth of key regional and national accounts across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of major accounts, including account setup, maintenance, and ongoing development
- Lead the implementation and execution of regional and national account programs
- Drive regional sales growth and support operational improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term success and performance
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including:
- Store Managers
- Operations Managers
- Outside Sales Representatives
- Product Management teams
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve program efficiencies for regional and national accounts
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and support expansion strategies
- Monitor account performance and recommend strategic improvements
To join our team, you need:
- 7–10 years of experience in Business Development and/or Account Management, preferably within a dealer, member, retail, or wholesale environment in the heavy-duty truck & trailer, automotive, or related sectors.
- Proven success managing accounts in a complex sales environment, including involvement in key decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region; valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required.
