The Opportunity:
Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Manager to spearhead the Future State PLM transformation initiative. This role will be responsible for assessing current-state PLM processes, gathering cross-functional business requirements, and helping define the vision and roadmap for a scalable, future-ready PLM ecosystem. The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the new PLM solution aligns with enterprise objectives and supports end-to-end product lifecycle processes within CPG industry. The candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad, during US EST time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Current State Assessment & Gap Analysis
- Lead the assessment and redesign of PLM processes to align with business objectives and technological advancements based on leading practices within CPG.
- Develop and execute transformation roadmaps for the integration of FlexPLM, Windchill, ThingWorx, and 3rd party CAD systems.
- Document and evaluate current PLM business processes, systems, and data flows across Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Product Development teams.
- Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and manual dependencies in the current state.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to capture business needs and priorities.
- Build MTIC PLM support and project team to enable future state Mattel PLM transformation program.
Future State Design & Roadmap
- Work with functional leads to define future state business processes and operating models.
- Develop business use cases, process flows, and capability maps to support future state definition.
- Align future state capabilities with enterprise PLM vision, compliance needs, and digital transformation goals.
Requirements Management
- Translate business needs into clear, testable functional and non-functional requirements for future PLM solutions.
- Manage and maintain a structured backlog of business requirements, ensuring traceability through implementation.
- Collaborate with PLM architects and vendors to ensure proposed solutions meet business expectations.
Testing & Validation
- Support test planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities for future state processes.
- Partner with business users to verify that new capabilities are aligned to business needs and are fit for use.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Readiness
- Lead project teams in the execution of PLM transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Serve as the key business liaison between functional teams and IT/solution delivery teams.
- Support organizational change management efforts through documentation, communication, and training support.
- Provide input into migration, onboarding, and adoption plans for future state tools and processes.
Communication: Facilitate effective communication between offshore and onshore teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on project status, risks, and issues.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or requirements.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in PLM systems analysis, implementation, and management. Proven experience with FlexPLM, Windchill, Thing Worx, and CAD systems (e.g., Creo, Solidworks, Freeform, Artios Cad). Strong background in business process analysis and system integration within the product development lifecycle.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and manage teams across different time zones.
