Job Description

  • Responsible in preparing patient/customer meal or related hospital functions Assist chef in planning, organising and preparing food for patient/customer
  • Responsible for assisting in all areas of food preparation as and when directed. Ensure hygiene of the working area, including cooking, butchery and food preparation area.
  • Ensure correct use of all equipment and maintain a clean and tidy work
  • Prepare mise en place and replenish food for all kitchen area.
  • To assist in issuing ordering list.
  • Participate in all quality accreditation activities (e.g. JCI, MSQH, IMS, MSOSH, 5S, etc.)
  • Adhere to KPJ Standard People Practice (SPP).
  • All policies and procedures are adhered to and records maintained.
  • To assist in any other responsibility as deemed necessary by Head of Services or Hospital Management.

Job Requirement

  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and above
