Job description
- Design, develop, and test diagnostic sequences for various ECUs and vehicle platforms.
- Work with modern automotive diagnostic tools and protocols such as UDS and KWP2000.
- Analyze ODX data, including service structures, ODX architecture, and request/response communication flows.
- Analyze CAN logs to identify issues, optimize diagnostic processes, and support troubleshooting activities.
- Perform software testing, debugging, and root cause error analysis.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of diagnostic workflows and vehicle systems.
- Develop and maintain software solutions using Java and HTML technologies.
- Manage source code and version control activities using Git (commit, push, pull).
- Support continuous improvement of diagnostic processes and automation solutions.
- Good knowledge of Java programming.
- Good knowledge of HTML.
- Very good understanding of ODX data, including service structures, ODX architecture, and request/response construction.
- Very good experience in analyzing CAN logs.
- Good understanding of automotive diagnostic protocols and communication (UDS, KWP2000, etc.).
- Experience with testing, debugging, and error analysis.
- Practical experience working with Git (commit, push, pull).
- Strong communication skills in German at C1 level or higher (mandatory).
- Experience with ProdisAutomation or PIDT is considered an advantage.
