Job Description:

Work Schedule: Weekend days, 7am to 3pm, Saturday and Sunday. Call required-Monday-Friday- every other week-eventually moving to every third week.

  • Maintains effective communication operations by answering and forwarding calls promptly, executing overhead announcements, and responding appropriately to hospital codes and alarm systems.
  • Supports hospital operations after hours by contacting key personnel as needed and maintaining accurate on-call lists and operational activity logs.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of hospital emergency procedures, including disaster codes and emergency communication protocols.
  • Provides exceptional customer service through professional, courteous, and helpful interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Basic understanding of numerous computer systems. [Required]
• Ability to communicate effectively. [Required]
• Customer service skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Ability to work with attention to detail in reading, writing, and computer tasks required.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to answer calls promptly, courteously, and accurately required.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions required.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays required.
• Ability and willingness to adapt to change required.
• Clear and precise speaking abilities required.

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
