- Salary: $83,734.08 base salary per annum.

About The Role:
- This is a Max term, part-time (4 days a week) position until 30th Sept 2026. The successful applicant must be available work rotational shifts, Monday to Sunday including public holidays.
- Provide patient centred pharmaceutical care within a primary health setting. Work in coordination with the clinical teams delivering treatment to patients of the Parklea Correctional Complex with a range of health conditions including, mental health, opioid treatment program, infectious disease, alcohol and other drugs and chronic health conditions.
- Provide pharmacy services in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice guidelines and standards.
- Dispense medication safely and accurately as ordered by medical staff within a reasonable timeframe as agreed with Senior Pharmacist and Medical staff, without compromising patients’ health and safety and in accordance with pharmacy professional standards.
- Maintain records for dispensing in accordance with requirement of the relevant legislation and policy guidelines.
- Supply S8 and S4D drugs and maintain records in accordance with requirements of the relevant legislations and policy guidelines.
- Participate in the pharmacy educator programs for pharmacy technicians, new pharmacists and pharmacy students.
- Participate in the orientation and induction program for new pharmacy staff. Participate when required in development and delivery of educational programs by the pharmacy department. Meet the AHPRA Pharmacy Boards requirements for currency of practice and continuing professional development.
About You:
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
- Pharmacy qualifications conferred by tertiary education institutions e.g. Bachelor of Pharmacy with full Pharmacist registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with no restrictions on scope of practice.
- Experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services.
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team and have the skills to build and maintain cooperative relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology systems within a variety of applications.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy service or within correctional health will be regarded favourably.
