Payroll Officer
Salary
Job description
Interpreting and processing manual timesheets to ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, employment contracts and company policies
Responding to and resolving payroll queries and requests from employees
Reconciling leave records
Setting up new starters and preparing termination pay calculations
Assisting with weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay runs
Assisting with preparation of standard and ad-hoc payroll reports
Bright and optimistic personality
Ideally at least 1 year experience in a payroll position
People with no payroll experience but have completed payroll certificate / diploma or similar, and have passion about payroll are also encouraged to apply
Assertiveness and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines
Proficient computer skills especially with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
A highly organised, customer service focused work style with a strong attention to detail
