Role Summary
The Assistant Sales Manager for LOUPE Southeast Asia (formerly Labelexpo Southeast Asia) is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales revenue targets as outlined in the sales plan. This role involves effective management of customer relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and account management to both existing and prospective exhibitors. The Assistant Sales Manager will handle customer inquiries, provide pricing information and quotations, explain exhibition offerings (e.g., booth space, online marketing), address customer questions, and negotiate pricing to secure sales.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets for LOUPE 2027 and ASEAN Paper in alignment with the sales plan.
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive booth and sponsorship sales, including non-sqm revenue sources such as sponsorships.
- Maintain regular contact and build strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and expand the customer base by targeting new prospects and visiting competitor shows.
- Resolve customer issues and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.
Database Management (Salesforce)
- Update and maintain the Salesforce database weekly.
- Create and input new customer profiles to build a comprehensive database for future outreach and show invitations.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage sales reports and pipeline revenue tracking.
Marketing Coordination
- Collaborate with the marketing team and customers to gather product information and images for exhibitor and visitor promotional materials.
Accounting Coordination
- Work closely with the accounting team to monitor and update payment statuses, including overdue payments.
Operations Coordination
- Liaise with the operations team to ensure exhibitors receive updates on booth layouts, raw space plans, exhibitor manuals, and PR product highlights.
IT Coordination
- Verify and correct visitor databases to ensure completeness before sending show materials and invitations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience with at least 4 years of proven sales/tele-sales experience.
- Confident, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Self-motivated, sales-driven, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Passionate about sales and dedicated to achieving personal sales targets.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English and Thai (spoken and written), with the ability to proofread sales materials, brochures, and promotional content.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel as required.
