The Role and The Team
Join our Product team as Commercial Strategy Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Product. In this individual contributor role, you will own the end-to-end pricing, packaging, and commercial launch strategy for the Lucanet multi-solution platform, ensuring pricing structures are grounded in market research, validated through customer interviews and structured pilots, and aligned with the company's transition to AI-native capabilities.
Please note: You must reside in Germany to be considered for this role.
What You'll Do
- Design and own the pricing architecture for the multi-solution platform, including value-metric frameworks, AI-capability tiering, per-solution and bundled packaging models, and usage-based commercial structures
- Conduct annual pricing reviews for established products and services, recommending adjustments based on competitive intelligence and partner pricing trends
- Conduct ongoing market research including competitor pricing analysis, willingness-to-pay interviews, customer segmentation studies, and benchmarking to inform pricing decisions
- Validate pricing and packaging hypotheses through structured pilot programmes, controlled regional rollouts, and win/loss analysis
- Partner with Product Heads to ensure pricing reflects product value, roadmap evolution, and competitive positioning
- Co-own commercial readiness for new product launches, collaborating with Solutions Marketing and GTM leadership on target segments, positioning, launch sequencing, and sales enablement
- Work closely with the GTM organisation to ensure pricing is operationally executable, well-communicated, and supported by enablement materials
- Support the deal desk team in devising discount governance frameworks and analysing tactical promotional initiatives
- Build business cases with scenario modelling to quantify revenue impact and risk
- Organise and lead internal pricing review sessions to align the Executive Leadership Team on pricing strategy
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software pricing or monetisation strategy at a B2B enterprise SaaS company
- Demonstrated experience pricing AI-powered products or multi-solution platform offerings
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in pricing research methodologies and structured pilot design
- Proven track record of translating insights into commercially validated pricing decisions
- Experience working within a Product organisation with a strong understanding of product development lifecycles
- Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across Product, GTM, and Finance
- Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models
- Experience with enterprise financial software, CPM, or regulatory reporting solutions is a strong plus
- MBA or advanced degree in economics, business, or a quantitative discipline is preferred but not required
- Fluent in English and German
