Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Manufacturing Operation Analyst to join the Propulsion South Carolina Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift.
Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results. Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes. Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans. Works under general direction.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues supporting specific operations
Conduct assessments of processes and practices against applicable standards and criteria
Provides feedback on assessment results
Support the organization in implementing strategies and plans
Partner with 787/737 support organization as needed and Manufacturing Safety Team members as needed
Facilitate compliance-related BPSMs and RSPSs for assigned areas
Understand relevant policies, processes, procedures, BPS criteria, and expectations
Compile and report compliance assessments using EPES and program standard processes
Support Focal meetings (e.g., 5S Steering Team, Tool Management Steering Team) through facilitation or attendance
Support emergent compliance projects as requested by leadership
Analyze and interpret data; provide feedback on assessment results
Work with organizations to develop strategies, plans, and metrics using Lean methodologies or other tools
Independently compile the BPR deck
Administer EPES
Help facilitate the standard work document
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience implementing lean manufacturing principles
3+ years of experience working in manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience leading stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions
3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
3+ years of implementing improvement projects
3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools in the workplace
3+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and multiple levels of leadership
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Strong communication skills, Strong problem-solving skills and Strong drive for process improvement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Certifications: Lean/Six Sigma, AS9100, or relevant quality/compliance certifications
Experience in regulated industries (aerospace, defense, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, etc.) is a plus
Previous experience leading teams
3+ years of business operations experience
Excellent communicator and collaborator; skilled at coaching frontline teams
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP systems, or fulfillment tooling
Familiarity with audit management systems and quality management systems (QMS)
