ABOUT THE TEAM

SIXGEN supports missions by serving government and commercial organizations as they overcome global cybersecurity challenges. In this position, you’ll provide meaningful support to our customer’s missions and operations. You’ll work alongside a team of highly skilled operators who are dedicated to using innovative processes, tools, and techniques to get things done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure for enterprise AI applications in cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
  • Develop and optimize engineering workflows and processes to support AI model development, deployment, and maintenance
  • Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of AI models and application
  • Implement and manage containerization solutions using technologies such as Docker and Kubernete
  • Ensure efficient AI model lifecycle management, including versioning, monitoring, and scaling
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to streamline deployment processes and optimize resource utilization
  • Oversee system performance, security, and scalability of AI infrastructure
  • Continuously research and implement new DevOps tools and practices to improve efficiency and reliability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field with 12 years of experience; Master’s degree in a relevant technical field with 10 years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency in DevOps principles and practice
  • Demonstrated expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proven experience architecting and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Extensive experience with AI model lifecycle management and maintenance
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure) for infrastructure deployment and management
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable engineering solution
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and their implications for infrastructure design
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay current with evolving DevOps and AI technologies

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$180,000-$220,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. The final salary offer will be determined after a thorough review of the candidate's background and alignment with the role.
