POSITION:

Are you passionate about hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences? Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking enthusiastic, service-oriented individuals to join our Banquet Team for the summer season! As a Seasonal Banquet Server, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service at a variety of private events, including weddings, corporate retreats, holiday celebrations, and more.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

• Exceptional organization and time management skills
• Demonstrates knowledge of customer service to execute Solitude’s standards
• Ability and willingness to collaborate
• Communicate with strong verbal skills
• Must have great problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work flexible work schedules that include holidays and weekends
• Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and or certifications such as Food Handler’s Certificate and Sips and Tips
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 30 lbs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide warm, professional, and prompt service to all guests
• Set up and break down banquet spaces according to event specifications
• Serve meals in various formats including plated, buffet, and hand-passed appetizers
• Deliver table wine service and monitor guest needs throughout the event
• Maintain clean, organized service areas and ensure an exceptional dining atmosphere
• Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations with every interaction

• Set up the restaurant for food service, set tables with linens, silverware, and stemware, set buffets and action stations
• Create a comfortable atmosphere for our dining guests
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth service
• Close, clean, and reset the banquet venue
