Job Purpose & Scope Responsible for proactively expanding and deepening mutually beneficial, value-driven relationships with business clients, identifying financial needs, and recommending tailored banking solutions to drive growth across deposit accounts and other Bank offerings while ensuring client experiences are exceptional and seamless. Essential Job Functions Expands wallet share through new deposit accounts, credit products, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and Trust & Wealth solutions. Educates clients on available products, digital tools, and process enhancements tailored to their business operations. Supports and develops business relationships primarily through inbound and outbound calls. Identifies lending needs, gathers preliminary information, and facilitates appointments with commercial bankers, business bankers, or retail. Collaborates with other departments throughout the Bank to ensure seamless customer experiences and efficient processes. Maintains detailed records of client interactions, updates goZK pipeline system, and ensures strong follow-through on referrals. Monitors and analyzes key performance metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations while adhering to Bank OZK policies and procedures. Upholds the Bank’s values, culture, and reputation in all client and team interactions. Provides high-quality service by answering account-related questions, assisting with digital banking navigation, and resolving minor issues in a centralized, phone-based environment. Escalates more complex issues to management or directs the customer to the proper resource as needed. Contributes to departmental projects and performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities General knowledge of the Bank’s footprint including customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. General knowledge of business deposit accounts, basic lending, cash-management tools, and Trust and Wealth solutions. Ability to assess financial needs and make sound recommendations. Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel, sometimes overnight. Ability to utilize discretion and sound judgment in decision making and maintain confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present financial information accurately. Effective relationship-building, stakeholder influence, and verbal and written communication skills. Analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High degree of integrity and commitment to uphold the bank’s values and reputation. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while taking initiative and maintaining a proactive approach to accomplishing work objectives. Skill in using Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or commensurate work experience, required. 2+ years of experience in banking sales, client relations, relationship management, or related, required. NMLS, or successful completion of NMLS process within 30 days of hire, required.
