The MDR QA & Training Analyst ensures quality and consistency across SOC operations by reviewing case investigations, validating adherence to procedures, and supporting analyst enablement. This role is integral to improving the accuracy of incident handling, refining documentation, and delivering training that raises the overall standard of MDR performance. What You'll Do Quality Assurance and Case Review Perform detailed reviews of SOC cases, ensuring investigations meet quality standards. Verify that incident documentation aligns with runbooks, playbooks, and compliance requirements. Provide structured feedback to SOC Analysts and escalate recurring issues to leadership. Training and Enablement Assist in onboarding new SOC team members by delivering training modules. Help develop training content, exercises, and knowledge base materials. Conduct refresher training sessions to ensure adherence to evolving processes. Process Improvement and Development Identify gaps in case handling or procedural compliance. Recommend improvements to workflows, training content, and documentation standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements. Cross-Team Collaboration Partner with t eams to ensure consistency in MDR operations. Provide feedback on quality trends to SOC Managers and leadership. Serve as a liaison between operations and training teams to align objectives. What You'll Bring 2 – 4 years of experience in a SOC, MDR, or IT quality assurance/training role. Demonstrated experience in case review, auditing, or training delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience). CompTIA Security+, or equivalent DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification. Certifications in training, education, or quality assurance (e.g., CompTIA CTT+, ISO 9001, ISC2 CC) preferred. Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach to reviewing SOC work. Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs. Proficiency in SOC documentation standards, incident response workflows, and quality metrics. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
