Job description

Overview This position will manage the Stryten Energy warranty programs from evaluations of warranty claims and providing final approval/denial, to communication with Sales, Product and Application Engineering, and Plant Quality Teams. This position will also support the HQ Quality initiatives and manufacturing plant engagement with regards to reducing manufacturing defects idendified in 0-12 MIS warranty. Responsibilities Serve as the subject matter expert on ALL warranty claims, submitted through ServiceMax. This includes Motive Power Chargers, Lead-Acid batteries, and Lithium products. Make warranty decisions and process warranty orders. Anlyzes warranty data over time to find trends and possible concerns with appication, manufacturing quality, or product design. Work with the Customer Service team responsible for Salesforce to optimize processes for warranty failure mode analysis. Maintain the Warranty Procedures for all product offered by the company. Work with customer and sales teams to review and improve customer applications. Communicate warranty status clearly to the sales team. Work with internal and external service teams to ensure techs are trained to collect relevant and accurate information. Participate with Service Team Trainer to develop training materials to better educate customers and Agents on battery maintenance. Create a system for acknowledging work orders while the expert may be away. Update and maintain warranty trends on Tableau for all product types. Update and present a monthly report on work order processing. Maintain the weekly meetings to review Full Battery/Charger replacement requests. Work with local quality and engineering teams to review teardowns for failure mode analyses and potential corrective actions to address failures. Qualifications Education, Experience, Certifications: Minimum of a 4-year degree in Engineering and or Quality Management 1-2 years related experience in ERP systems (i.e., Salesforce.com) At least 3 years of experience with Lead-Acid battery, Charger, and Lithium manufacturing Competencies, Skills, Knowledge: Proficient in spreadsheets, Quality software/data analysis tools Impeccable written communication and organizational skills High energy level and ability to interface at all levels across the business Ability to work independently Highest ethical standards and practices Travel, additional requirements: Travel Expectations: 10% to HQ, AMP (Lithium Assembly), and RUC (Charger Design and Assembly).
