Primary Responsibilities The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for duties associated with keeping the fleet compliant, organized, and audit-ready always. Work closely with vendors, drivers, supervisors, and Transportation Manager. Essential Functions Coordinating pickup/drop-off of equipment to and from vendors Ensure all equipment has up-to-date licenses, registrations, compliance forms and stickers Coordinate preventative maintenance with vendors by deadlines Equipping equipment with telematic units Managing HOS compliance through telematic systems Holding vendors accountable for timely repairs through collaboration and communication Upholding driver compliance and safety Organizing and entering documents compliant-sensitive information Perform clerical assistance as needed Sort, file, fax, copy and/or distribute paperwork Must maintain good attendance. Maintain safe work practices. Maintain safeguards of confidential company information. Other duties and special projects as requested. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude High School Diploma or GED required. Previous fleet management and knowledge of DOT regulations functions preferred. Must be proficient with MS Office. Strong data-entry with high rate of accuracy preferred. Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude: Excellent communication, grammar, verbal and writing skills. Must be resourceful and well organized with an ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision. Above average telephone skills with experience focusing on customer satisfaction (internal and external). High energy level, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, and flexible.
